It’s the time of year to start making arrangements to attend the Student Activities Conferences (SAC) around the state. Each fall, the UIL hosts four conferences on different college campuses across Texas. SACs are designed to help high school students and sponsors begin to prepare for UIL academic events.
Registration is free for the conferences that last from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Instructional sessions are designed for beginning and advanced students, as well as academic coordinators and coaches. Lectures and demonstrations will be scheduled for all high school UIL academic contests, including One-Act Play.
