The Office of Research fosters the advancement of cutting-edge research discoveries and technology at the University of Texas at Dallas, an innovative institution in the heart of North Texas on the path to achieving Tier One national research status.  Our departmental resources provide faculty and staff with a variety of specialized information and training to help efficiently navigate funding opportunities, proposal development, post-award fiscal and effort advising, as well as guidance in facilitating commercial partnerships. BEST of Texas Robotics (BTR)
BEST of Texas Robotics (BTR), a 501(c)(3) non-profit, is a front runner in bringing S.T.E.M. (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) to the hearts and minds of middle and high school students.  BTR works with organizations such as UT Dallas to support S.T.E.M. education and help create learning moments by making basic robotics and technology exciting and fun.  Partnered with BEST Robotics, Inc. (Boosting Engineering, Science, and Technology), BEST of Texas Robotics is growing local BEST competition sites (hubs) and BEST teams across Texas.  BTR also hosts the University Interscholastic League (UIL) Robotics State Championship - BEST Robotics Division in the late fall each year.  The local hubs in Texas are the team qualifying events for the UIL robotics championship.
