STEM Overview

Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics, commonly referred to as STEM, represent an important and growing component of the UIL Academic program. The UIL STEM program includes high school competitions in Calculator Applications, Computer Science, Mathematics, Number Sense and Science, as well as a new pilot program in Robotics slated to begin in the 2015-2016 school year.

For younger students, the A+ Academics program includes middle school competitions in Calculator Applications, Mathematics, Number Sense and Science, as well as elementary school competition in Number Sense.
