An ad-hoc committee is working on a handbook with the specifications for entry. That will be posted in September.
Film Contest Deadline Set
The deadline for submitting entries for the 2014-15 UIL Young Filmmakers Festival has been set. Online submissions must be received by midnight January 21, 2015. The state finals are scheduled for February 18, 2015 in Austin.

State finalists have been announced for Focus: The UIL Young Filmmakers Festival.
UIL Film Contest State Semifinalists Announced
State semifinal qualifiers have been announced for Focus: The UIL Young Filmmakers Festival. 126 films were selected in the categories of animation, documentary and narrative. State final qualifiers will be announced March 28.

Two Plays Removed from Play List
IS HE DEAD is no longer available for contest use. We have removed it from the approved play list. The publisher will not grant permission. Dark of the Moon was also removed late last year.
