AUSTIN, TX— Two decisions were handed down by the State Executive Committee of the University Interscholastic League Tuesday.
The committee denied an appeal by San Antonio Burbank High School for forfeiture of contest, upholding the previous ruling by the District Executive Committee.
In other action, the State Executive Committee granted Hallsville High School’s request for exception to forfeiture of contest. It was ruled that Hallsville would not have to forfeit any games for allowing an ineligible player to participate.
