FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

AUSTIN— The State Executive Committee of the University Interscholastic League met Monday hear two appeals of UIL rule violations regarding amateur athletics.

Two Katy High School baseball student-athletes were denied appeals of forfeiture of contests due to violations of amateur athletic status rules, upholding the previous decision of the district executive committee.
