FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

AUSTIN, TX—The University Interscholastic League is proud to announce Baden Sports as the official ball provider of the UIL for the 2010-11 school year. Baden Sports will provide athletic balls for all UIL state and regional tournaments.

“We are excited to partner with Baden Sports and bring a quality product to the student-athletes of Texas,” said UIL Executive Director Dr. Charles Breithaupt.

“We are very excited to be named the Official Ball Carrier of Texas’ University Interscholastic League,” said Michael Schindler, Baden’s CEO. “Texas is a fantastic state for high school sports.  It consistently produces some of our nation’s most competitive and entertaining athletic events, and we are proud to be a part of it as the Official Ball.”

To celebrate this announcement, Baden and the UIL provided one free ball to every UIL member school prior to the 2010-11 season.

The goal of the UIL is to provide quality equipment to student-athletes at state and regional tournaments. Baden’s production and quality assurance team directly oversees the manufacturing process on-site to ensure that all products meet its stringent standards.
