2017 One-Act Play State Meet Date and Location Change
The 2017 UIL One-Act Play State Meet dates and locations have changed.
Conferences 4A, 5A and 6A will be held April 12-14, at the Raymond E. Hartfield (Round Rock ISD) Performing Arts Center, 5800 McNeil Dr., Austin, TX 78729.
4A - Wednesday, April 12
5A - Thursday, April 13
6A - Friday, April 14
Conferences 1A, 2A and 3A will be held April 18-20, at the Jerry Fay Wilhelm (Bastrop ISD) Performing Arts Center, 1401 Cedar Street, Bastrop, TX 78602.
3A - Tuesday, April 18
2A - Wednesday, April 19
1A - Thursday, April 20
Theatrical Design state finalists critiques and awards will be held in conjunction with Conference 6A One-Act Play Friday, April 14 at the Round Rock ISD Performing Arts Center.
The Academic State Meet will continue as scheduled April 21-22, with speech events May 22-23, on the University of Texas at Austin campus.
2017 State Film Results with Links Now Posted
The results of the 2017 Young Filmmakers Festival are posted on the film page. There are links to the films.
Theatrical Design Portal Now Open

Title Registration Link is Now Open for OAP
You may begin to enter your titles into the Spring Meet Entry System at this time. Deadline is February 14.
Film Contest Entry System Now Open
The portal to submit films for the 2017 UIL Young Filmmakers Festival is now open. Please follow the directions that are found on the pdf on the "Film" webpage. One quick clue: When you go to the portal it will ask you to log in. You can't. Click on the white "Film" link on the blue header and that will get you to a page where you can set up your e-mail and password. Please contact us with any questions. The Deadline is at midnight on January 11th.
OAP Alignments Posted
The 2016-17 alignments, based on OAP enrollment, are now posted. Please make sure your school is there. If not, contact us.
New Procedures and Links to Forms for Play and Set Approvals Are now Online
New procedures for submitting plays not on the approved lists and forms for pre-submission are now posted on the UIL website. They can be found under "Resources and Forms."
2017 OAP Regional Judges Posted
The 2017 UIL OAP Regional Judging Panels are now posted.
State Meet Schedule Announced

2016 Theatrical Design State Qualifiers Announced
After reviewing 658 entries in this year's Theatrical Design Contest, the panel of adjudicators have made their selections. The 142 entries that will be exhibited at the UIL State Meet can be found at this link.
