FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
AUSTIN, TX— The Hearing Officer of the UIL State Executive Committee ruled on an appeal regarding varsity eligibility of a student-athlete Monday.
A student-athlete from Diboll High School was denied an appeal for varsity eligibility upholding the previous ruling of the district executive committee. After hearing testimony from all interested parties, it was ruled that the student-athlete changed schools for athletic reasons.
