AUSTIN, TX— The Hearing Officer of the UIL State Executive Committee ruled on one case for exception to forfeiture of contest on Wednesday.
After hearing testimony from all interested parties, El Paso El Dorado High School was denied its request for exception to forfeiture of contest. It was determined that the school would have to forfeit two football games in which an ineligible student-athlete participated. The El Paso El Dorado High School football team will be replaced in the playoffs by El Paso Coronado High School.
